Earn from home using Pinoy Turk

Short in cash?  Need to pay for your surfing habits?  Need to pay for your drinking habits?  If you have an Internet connection, you can earn from home (or from your favorite Net cafe).

At Pinoy Turk, you can submit an e-mail address for 1 peso. Yes, they will give you 1 peso for every e-mail you submit.   Here’s the trick.  Don’t register your personal e-mail address.  Create a dummy e-mail address from either Yahoo, Gmail or wherever.  Submit this to Pinoy Turk.  For each e-mail you submit, you get 1 peso.  If you can submit 100 e-mail addresses, you get 100 pesos.

How to transfer contacts from a Nokia to a Blackberry cellphone

blackberry-9000Here’s the situation:  my wife just got a Blackberry 9000 semi-free from her mobile service provider and she needs to transfer her contacts from her old Nokia N93.

Here’s the solution:

  1. Using Nokia PC Suite, I synched my wife’s Nokia mobile phone to either Microsoft Outlook or Outlook Express (Windows Address Book).  I’m really not a big fan of Microsoft Outlook so I never installed it on any of our computers / laptops.  Outlook Express, however, is, I think, always installed in XP or Vista operating systems.  So, in my case, I synched to Outlook Express.  I’m not really sure but I think Outlook Express uses the Windows Address Book.
  2. Using the Blackberry Desktop Manager, I synched from Windows Address Book to Blackberry Device.  You have to select where to sync from using the Synchronization configuration window.
  3. That’s it.

Diego

My grandnephew, Diego.

I’m 33 and I’m a granduncle, if there’s such a word.

This photo is one of the first few photos taken from my Nikon D60.  I’m not sure who took this photo though.  Either my sister or my nephew.
