Lord God, our Heavenly Father. You are our one and true God. We adore and praise You. You are our hope, our need, our salvation. Without You, we are nothing. We are privileged to have been reigned by a just and merciful King that is You. Your will be done here on earth as it will be in heaven.
Forgive us our sins, Heavenly Father, and give us the strength and the will to forgive those who have sinned against us. For we are not perfect. You alone are perfect for you alone are the one true God. We confess to You our sins directly, Almighty Father, and pray that You don’t tire of showing us Your grace and Your mercy.
We would like to give thanks for the big and little things in our lives. Your blessings that go unnoticed. The sun that rises every morning. The moon and stars that light the night. Our children and their laughter. Our parents and their wisdom. Our friends and relatives that encourage us to go on.
We give You thanks for our career promotions, our business successes, our loved ones’ homecoming, our conversions to true Christianity.
We thank you, Heavenly Father, for giving us this church and surrounding us with leaders and members who have great fear of You, yet truly adore, praise and love You.
Above all, we thank You for sacrificing your only begotten Son, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, who died on the cross so our sins may be forgiven. We are eternally grateful for Your loving grace and mercy.
Lord, our God, may you continue to shower us with your blessings. Continue to protect our families and loved ones. Continue to give us good health, and when we are sick, heal us, Lord. Continue to give us wisdom and patience in handling worldly endeavors. Guide us in all our decisions in life. Help us realize that in everything we do, You should be our center, our focus. Remind us not to please others but to please only You, our Great Provider. Please, Lord, make us better Christians, true Christians in every sense of the word. We pray for our country, our leaders, our community and our church. Watch over all of us, Lord. Help us remember you in our joys and in our sorrows. We are fervently hoping you will grant us our requests, but only by your will, Lord, not ours.
All these we pray, through your Son, Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.
