1. Jan has politely asked me to “pay forward” the friendship award.  However, I must admit I have little friends in the blog world so I need to befriend a lot more.  When I have 7 to 10 friends, Jan, I promise I’ll pay it forward.
2. I need to install a Wordpress Translator Plugin.  You know, to reach to my non-English speaking fanatics around the world.
3. I need to install the Top Commentators Plugin.  I guess this task is connected with task no. 1 above – I need to socialize (virtually) with other bloggers in order for the Top Commentators Plugin to even make sense.  What’s the use of installing one when no one’s commenting on your posts, right?
4. How about this? I need to ramp up optimization my free psp game download seo campaign / keyword hijacking.  I realize it’s already too late in the game but, hey, I’ve got to start somewhere.
5. Talk about keyword hijacking – I really need to practice this skill.  Why? Ask macuha, jehzlau or selaplana.  These are the domestic masters I want to emulate.
6. I have removed my Entrecard from two of my blogs.  I found they really never bring me traffic unless I religiously approved Entrecard ads, which I don’t have time to do.  I am planning to pull my other Entrecards out from my other blogs.  It just adds weight to the loading of my blog pages.
7. I’ve read Macuha’s Project Wonderful post (I’m too tired to link it up, sorry.) and I’m convinced I can make money out of this.  If not now, maybe later.
8. And yeah, I need to comment on other blogs, submit to social bookmarking sites, etc, etc.  You know, you know.  Wink, wink… but right now I just don’t have the time to do them.

Anyways, I’m not a writer so I shouldn’t have writer’s block, right?  So why is it that I can’t think of anything to write?

1. How much does web hosting cost you annually?

Annually, it costs me about $84 for the hosting and $9 for each domain name at Host Monster . Host Monster has a promo now, $1 cheaper than regular rates, so you might want to buy now.

Beware of hosting companies who offer very cheap plans.  Sometimes their services are also cheap.

2. If your web hosting plan says you have a choice for multiple domains, does it mean you can have a second and possibly a third blog at no additional cost?

The short answer is yes.

The long answer is:

Yes, you can have multiple blogs at no additional cost. The blog software/application itself is free. You only pay extra if you decide to buy a new domain name (about $9 for each domain). See, you have two options when installing blogs:

You can use a sub-domain. Sub-domains are “children” of your main domain and you don’t pay extra for this. For example, you have a blog site with a domain named “www.myblog.com”. On this blog, you rant about anything under the sun. If you decide to also blog about food, you can install an additional blog and name it “food.myblog.com”. If you decide to also blog about your travels you can install an additional blog and name it “travel.myblog.com”. And so on and so forth. These additional blog installations won’t cost you extra.

You can use an entirely new domain. If you are picky like me, you will want an entirely new domain. So, in addition to “www.myblog.com”, you can also blog about food and name it “www.foodblog.com”. For travel, maybe “www.travelblog.com”. And so on and so forth. These additional blog installations won’t cost you extra BUT you pay for the new domain names (www.foodblog.com, www.travelblog.com, etc.)

By the way, most web hosting companies nowadays have a control panel that automates all wordpress blog installations. If a web hosting company doesn’t provide automated installations, fuggedaboutit. Yes, forget about it.

3. What web hosting company do you recommend? Seven months with Host Monster, would say you got a good deal?

So far, I haven’t had any troubles with Host Monster. I like that it’s cheap and it has a chat feature where you can ask for help. Like most hosting companies, it automates the installation of Wordpress. Overall, I recommend Host Monster.

Here’s the catch though.  As your traffic grows, your sites start to freeze and return all kinds of errors. This kind of situation defines which web hosting company has the better service and hosting plans.

You need to upgrade your plan ASAP and if you can do that quickly and without data loss, then that hosting company is just the right one for you.
