Google Code Search
I just learned today that Google has incorporated code snippets in its search results. For example, if you search for the term “mysql_connect”, which is a very popular function of PHP since it connects to its preferred database, MySQL, a code snippet will form part of the search result:

Apparently, this has been happening for months, in fact, it started the year 2006. So what? I just learned it today. I don’t surf the Net that much because I used to work (write code) 100% all the time - I don’t check my personal mails when I go to the office… and I don’t site hop *wink wink* … until this year, when I altogether resigned from professional programming.
Anyways, some people find the code snippet results useless. I don’t know, you know?. Some programmers who are really not that bright might need this. It’s like hard core users saying that one day Linux will rule the desktop. That’s not going to happen because a majority of people will always be dumb(er)… and Linux will always be for the brighter people.
You know?
