Pingbacks and Trackbacks
Pingbacks and Trackbacks are really very new to me. I found this site that articulately explains them. However, you know the Net is widely used as much as it is widely abused. I’ve read some posts that say quite a number of sites turn off their trackbacks (am not sure about pingbacks) because they are spam magnets.
Wow, the Net really complicated our already complicated lives, don’t you think?

Yes, I read the same articles and got to your blog using the trackback link… I am trying to understand these Trackbacks & Pingbacks too… I already try to get Trackbacks in 2 sites… but looks like non of them allow it ot I don’t know…

I don’t understand why you all having problems with Trackbacks and Pingbacks. It’s so simple you link another Article and notify the Article/Blog owner via a Trackback URL. So the Article should have a Trackback URL close to it. Copy it and put it into the Trackback field below the field where you write a post. Thats it…
