Quick Stomach R.I.P.
So, I went to Manila last monday and the first thing I had in mind after checking in is to go to Quick Stomach. Well, I originally planned on going to Persian Kebab first but my wife pleaded that I delay my Kebab tryst so we could go together later at night. (She had to go somewhere else first.)
I was shocked to see that Quick Stomach was closed. It looked like it was under renovation. I asked the attending lady inside the pharmacy beside it and she said that quickstom (as I fondly call it) was closed for good. Well, that’s not good, it’s bad.
Quickstom was there with me through good times and bad times. When I was drunk, quickstom was there for me. When I had limited budget quickstom was there for me. When I had to treat friends(?), quickstom was there for me. When I was [insert reason or activity here], quickstom was there for me.
I don’t understand. When I was there, it always had customers. It had quite a number of customers no matter what time it was - it was especially alive during the wee hours. There, you can see a lot of foreigners together with exotic Filipinas. Japanese, Korean or maybe Chinese(?) chicks were even eating there all the time. Makati, I guess, moves in mysterious ways.
Here’s a photo of Quick Stomach, courtesy of Manila Muse:

Oh quickstom, Makati will never be the same without you. Please, rise from the dead!
