Nicanor “Nick” Perlas for President
The 2010 Philippine Presidential Election is fast approaching. Who’s your pick?
While we have the “usual suspect” candidates, maybe we should consider alternative ones like Nick Perlas. I’m not saying vote for Nick Perlas. I’m saying consider voting for him.
I really don’t know Nick Perlas and what he has done to merit my consideration (or the presidency!) but it is my intention to know more about him. I’m just tired of the “usual suspects”.
People always mention the winnability of a candidate. I was one of these people. For once, I think we should consider who we think is a worthy president and never mind if that candidate is “winnable” or not. We always clamor for change. We always complain that our leaders are corrupt. If we want change, we should change our ballots. Vote with your heart, not with your mind.
