2009 Oscar Winners and Nominees (81st Annual Academy Awards)

Slumdog Millionaire won eight Oscars, including Best Picture.  I was wondering how a story evolving around a young Indian going to a game show (Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, Indian Version) could be worth viewing.

Now, with seven Oscars (also called Academy Awards), so far, you bet I am going to either buy the DVD or go watch the movie straightaway.  That’s how simple (or stupid) I am.  A movie wins multiple Oscars, it gets my attention.

Was I talking about politics? I blame it on the economy.

I really don’t consider myself a writer as I don’t love writing.  Heck, I don’t even like it.  I’m just doing this because I’m lazy.  How so, you say?  I’ll explain it next year, haha!

Anyways, I’m not a writer so I shouldn’t have writer’s block, right?  So why is it that I can’t think of anything to write?

I blame it on the economy. Again, haha!  Wait, I know, I blame it on the President of the Republic of the Philippines.  Everybody else is blaming the President so why can’t I.  Just kidding, I love our President but only because there’s no one else better to lead. Read more »

There’s an orphanage in Toril, Davao City that needs your help.

Love the Children Foundation started as an orphanage but has now expanded to a children’s church, and a community outreach ministry.  I’m really not that good in describing a foundation so please just read about them here.
