Michael Phelps versus Milorad Cavic Video - 2008 Beijing Olympics
It’s crazy. Michael Phelps won his seventh gold medal in the Beijing Olympics to tie Mark Spitz’s record. Spitz called Phelps’ feat “epic”. I don’t know if that’s the right word but I know I root for Michael Phelps.
The win is controversial though as Phelps won the 100 meter butterfly by a mere 0.01 second. It’s fun to watch swimming and it’s even more fun watching this particular event because Cavic protested the results.
Cavic, however, eventually conceded after super slow-mo replays. It looks, though, that he is not whole-heartedly accepting the defeat.

Check out the ultra slow-mo video at the end - ?avi? won this one. When I first saw the normal video, I actually thought that Phelps had done it, but after seeing it slowed down, there was no doubt in my mind - the gold was stolen. That’s a damn shame… Phelps is a great athlete, but he didn’t deserve this gold medal.
Milorad ?avi? is a better swimmer in these types of events, and I’m sure he’ll beat Phelps (or whoever) next time.
I also think something is suspicious here. Cavic would proof that next time.
no worries ladies and gents CAVIC is gonna prove hes the best in butterfly in the world championships and prove that the gold was stolen from the best swimmer…..all this was done just so phelps wins his 8 medals. its all politics…..how they going to let a SERB win? never will happen we will always be cheated!!!! But its cool Mr. Phelps ur going down in world championships be prepared cheating @#$%
