New security camera against terrorists
A new security camera can “X-ray” you without you knowing it. Cool, huh? This new gadget is called ThruVision T5000 and can pick up Terahertz rays or T-rays. Apparently T-rays are emitted by all objects and can pass through clothing or walls.
So what’s the difference between a “T-ray” and an X-ray? Well, with the T-ray, you don’t have to pass through a “door”. Also, this gadget does not emit radiation. In fact, it does the reverse, it picks up on it.
This gadget has a range of 25 meters and can be used in large areas (think public places). You don’t have to fall in line to be “violated”. The camera can image metallic and non-metallic objects hidden under clothing on either still or moving objects.
Let’s hear it again: cool, huh?
However, some are saying that this is invasion of privacy. Although I don’t really see any private about what’s behind my clothing other than my stick (the camera can’t see your reproductive organs or any organ for that matter), I agree. But I would rather have my “privacy” invaded than give authorities a hard time tracking terrorists.
This camera is already being used in some of London’s public places.
P.S. Sorry for all the double quotes.
